Recent departures from the Board of Directors present AFIO with the opportunity to bring on new Board members who will serve for a term of four years. The Board Chairman recently called for nominations for individuals to be considered for inclusion on the slate of candidates for election to the Board in a national vote by the membership over the summer.
Serving on the Board is a fulfilling leadership opportunity to positively shape AFIO’s strategic direction, mission, and sustainability. Directors should be devoted to AFIO’s purpose and ready to contribute their energy, skills, perspectives, and connections at the national level.
Nominations must be submitted by 10 April 2026 electronically to afio@afio.com or by United States Postal Service mail to AFIO’s national office at 220 Spring St., Suite 220/Herndon, VA 20170.
