To commemorate the 81st anniversary of D-Day, The OSS Seciety is honored to share their award-winning short documentary, Operation Overlord: OSS and the Battle for France. Their film tells the story of Allied special forces whose daring exploits changed the course of World War II. It was shown by SOCEUR (Special Operations Command Europe) in Normandy, and by the Central Intelligence Agency to its personnel worldwide, to commemorate last year’s 80th anniversary of D-Day. General Eisenhower said that if it did nothing else, the intelligence gathered by OSS in advance of D-Day justified its creation.
After watching our film, Steven Spielberg thanked The OSS Society for "preserving this history and keeping it in our conversations 80 years later."
