As part of membership to the Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO), we offer a range of benefits designed to support professionals and enthusiasts in the intelligence and national security fields. 

You will have access to:

Your Member Profile

To view your Member Profile, click the Account Information/Renew Membership link under Quick Links on your Member Account page.  You can also access it from the Member Profile link located under Membership menu itme at the top of the page (access available once you are logged in). 

• Review/renew your membership/subscription.  IF YOU ARE LOGGED IN and able to view your member data, it does not mean you are a CURRENT member. Visit your Member Profile to see if your membership has expired and needs to be renewed.
• Membership Card - Print, Capture, Download your new Membership e-Card (Select the Additional tab on your Member Profile form)
• Update email, phone, address, other contact info

Publications & Educational Resources

• Weekly Intelligence Notes (WINs): A weekly e-newsletter providing updates on AFIO activities and summaries of significant developments in the intelligence community. Information contained in the WIN will also be available on your Member Account page.  Scroll through this page to see all the items that are included.
• Exclusive Member Opportunities: A collection of research and job listings. Look for the Research and Job Opportunities link under Announcements on the Member Account page.  

Events & Networking Opportunities

• Invitations to Events: Members are invited to luncheons, symposia, and conferences featuring key figures from the intelligence community.  Available events are listed on the left side of your Member Account page.
• Local Chapters: Membership includes access to local AFIO chapters, allowing for regional networking and participation in local events.  To find information on how to join a local chapter, either click the Join an AFIO Chapter link under Quick Links on your Member Account page or click on the Chapters link under the Membership menu item at the top of the page after you have logged in.

Discounts & Special Offers

• Merchandise: AFIO's online store offers items that allow members to display their affiliation and support the association's educational mission. The Employee Activity Association Store is also only available to members.  There are links to these stores from the Store menu item at the top of the page.  

Exclusive Media Content

• AFIO NOW Video and Podcast Series:  Access to interviews and discussions with intelligence professionals, historians, and authors, providing insights into the intelligence community's history and operations. The most recent member exclusive videos are found on the right side of your Member Account page or clicking on the AFIO Now Interviews & Podcasts link under the Media & Publications menu at the top of the page.
